I liked the look of Iro when someone else mentioned him a month or two back - I dunno. I like Max Simpson but obviously unknown how he’s come back from that unlucky injury.

Think if MacDonald goes, we are going to have to try to get a replacement - especially with Newman being so injury prone. Hobbling again today I noticed.

We don't know the full story. His wife just had a baby. Maybe she doesn't want to travel back to England with a newborn, and Nene wants to stay with them, which I fully understand. Might be a case of not coming back this season but returning next year. Not great for the club but lets not suggest this is Segyaro revisited even if he doesn't ever come back.

He's not coming back. She could have flown over here months ago. If they don't relocate their family its not a good sign.

I don't think its unreasonable for a woman to want to have a baby surrounded by family. In any event I'm saying that if its that sort of issue that means he won't come back, its hugely different from Segayaro bailing on us. Who knows, maybe Nene was fully intent on returning this week, but just felt he couldn't. He seems like a pretty genuine person, and while its not great for us Leeds fans if he doesn't return, I hope we can just move on and wish him the best.

Karl Lawton (hooker), Ben Condon (prop), Kaeo Weekes (full back), Zac Fulton (back row) and Kelma Tuilsgi (back row) have been given permission to leave by Manly IF they find offers elsewhere

I'd take weekes in a heartbeat but we have miller now. Tuilagi would also be a very good signing for SL level.

He may or may not be, I don't know him at all. But he's just signed a 4 year extension. Circumstances change and stuff happens, I get that, but we can't just let him walk away with no recompense. If the club wanted him out I'm certain he'd be pointing to his contract, and quite rightly, too.

If McDonald has gone, we really need to make a push for Iro, without being a classic 'wingers centre' he's a bit more natural than McDonald in the role, and if we want someone to replace McDonald's meters, then theres no one better than Iro that could be classed as a realistic signing.

Frawley just had another completely anonymous game for the Raiders against the Sharks. Nothing at all worth noting with the ball. He makes Sezer look like Andrew Johns.
