Right back to the 1980's there. The (young) lad was hugely affected by what has happened to Robbie and it made him question if it was worth putting his body through it. He was seeing his mates going out and enjoying life, but he felt he was a prisoner to rugby league. That to me took bottle to make that decision when all around him we're telling him to continue playing. It does my head in when people say players don't have the bottle. Anyone stepping on to the pitch has bottle. This is the toughest of sports and everyone of those players takes risks not many of us have to. Fair enough challenge someone's skill set, but don't question their commitment or bravery to play a sport we take part in from a distance with a pint and burger in our hands.
