Surely the better players will run for the hills - especially if their wages are going to be significantly reduced. That leaves with a few distinctly average players even at Championship level like Bamford, Ayling, Cooper etc.

If Leeds go down it will be tough to do a Burnley without the right coach and recruitment in place

some players will yes and you are right with regards to recruitment and coach. no debts though, some quality in the U23s and some seasoned pros
bring in 6 or 7 and you have a decent squad

Graham you need to replace Orta!!

They need to build a squad for the future ensure the youngsters are ready if they do get promoted

The DOF appointment is more important than the next manager appointment to me. So far, the Norwich DOF is only one I've seen linked so far, he's got a good pedigree and has done a good job at Norwich. He does like the RB model though, so that puts me off.

why is it desperate? they broke the rules on FFP by over £200m and got away with it. now they have broken if again. do you not believe in sticking to the rules?
wether it affect us or not, wether we go down or not everton should be punished for what is a huge indiscretion.

We need a DoF similar to the ones at the likes of Brighton, Brentford and Fulham who have brought players in good enough to keep them top half of the table.
The concern is would the right person want to work in the Championship?
