If that all equates to being within the same amount of cap space that's tremendous business by the club. Understand the comments about prop but you have to work in a market based on what players are available. With 2 decent halves and pace on both wings we look potentates a very exciting team.

I mentioned Matongo previously as a potential.
Unlikely to set the world on fire but could do a job in the middle.
Maybe a bit like King but off quota which is what we need.

Or that we have had spare cap in the bag for a while.

Very interested to see what Agar thinks is his first choice 13 and 17 now going into next season.

I guess what he’ll have is options in most positions now.

I’m honestly not sure if we can bridge the gap without a real big thing down the middle.

So many players are playing for their shirts though, nobody should be lacking motivation in training. Dwyer, Myler, Gale, Briscoe, Mellor, Martin, Thompson all coming off contract and one or two of them would want to stay on.

Big opportunities for Johnson, Broadbent, Gannon, Edwards, Tindall and a couple of others to step up.

14. Tetevano
15. Holroyd
16. Mellor
17. Broadbent or Gannon or Myler depending on opposition

Don’t think we need Dwyer from the bench with that team.

Would prefer Austin in at LC for Sutcliffe on the bench but if not Austin at 17.
Still leaves Myler, Briscoe, Broadbent, Thompson, Dwyer, Gannon and maybe a new prop

We're only as strong as our weakest link.When the injuries and suspensions come (which they undoubtedly will) we'll struggle for size and power without another out and out prop.

The side we have right now is risky. It might pay off; but otherwise I’d expect us to be in the market for a good proper prop and/or back rower in 2023.

Maybe we will manage to sign another english prop but I can’t think of who would challenge for a place in the 17, unless it is Matty English who I can’t see Huddersfield letting go easily. They are trying to build a competitive side themselves.
