Drinkwater maybe better than Myler, but I’d want someone better than Drinkwater, why rush into giving a journeyman Aussie a contract?

I’m still keeping an eye on Isaac Luke. Could be ideal to rotate with Dwyer while Johnson comes through. We need a bit more physicality for me. Yes, he’ll get banned sometimes, but he’s one of those players you want on your side and not in the opposition.

I suspect though that we may well retain Lunt next year TBH.

Halfback is hard. Can McLelland really be far away from first grade after another closed season training...?

He might not lead us to silverware but we need to start planning for the longer term. If the names players I’d still fancy Sezer because I think he’d complement our side the most, but that’s just me. Probably need third marquee allowance - why is that not decided at this stage?!

Apart from 10 games last season, Drinkwater has been rubbish for most of his career

I remember an interview Drinkwater did '' I don't care who I play for so long as its for top money " probably true enough for most players . Keep away from Rhino's please, he is rubbish anyway

So we have been talking to James Graham, that would be monumental if we could pull that off. I can’t see it, along with the Fifita rumours. I’m sure he would go back to saints if anything!

I thought fafita had signed a new contract only recently? Might be wrong..

James Graham is approaching 34 and the NRL is a seriously tough physical competition, perhaps he feels he can prolong his career by moving back to Super League.
