Surely we can’t hide behind the excuse that recruitment is hard; when other clubs are significantly better than us in this regard? It’s the relative success between us and Saints/Wigan etc c that’s our problem - recruitment market isn’t different for them; they have just had more money, better judgement, more luck or whatever for years now.

We also haven’t produced our own junior talent in any of these key areas for too long.

Anyway as has been said, we may only be 3 signings away from being a good side rather than 8 so there is slow progress…

So what order of priorities do we have after Miller comes in at FB?

For me:
1, SO
2. Prop
3. SH
4. Hooker

Tetevano has removed anything and everything Rhinos related from his Instagram. Clearly not happy about something!

All of them really. It's the Devils own job finding four players of the requisite quality given that we likely have only 2 quota spaces to play with. Two halves come top for me, followed by prop followed by hooker. Unless we are really ruthless with Fusitua and Bentley I don't see how we could get it done. Even then you create new positional challenges.

The absolute worst way to use a quota place is on an always injured winger, especially one that isn’t even among the best 2 wingers at the club

Personally I think he's a fine player when fit, but facts are facts, he struggles to be fit 50% of the time. The last five major ventures into the market have yielded :Tet, Sezer, Fus, Austin and Bentley. They were all brought in to restore the fortunes of the club, and by that criteria they have been abject failures. They should all be gone.

Unfortunately, given the position we are in on recruitment, that is the absolute bare minimum to be able to put 17 out each week Jim.
Add to that a Winger, because we should get rid of Fusitua.

To have any chance of progressing, all the above need to be an improvement on what we have now (stating the bleeding obvious....)
Then we need some strength in depth in some positions.
Another centre to cover Newman's injuries.
Another wing to cover Olpherts incompetence.
A back up half to cover the two that we don't have yet.
Another back up prop to replace Walters.

Sadly we're 8 players short of any chance of competing.
A few are saying we're only 3 players short.
Entitled to their own opinion of course, but I really do disagree.

He’s a good winger, he isn’t as good as nene or ash imo

But could not agree more on the general point that all 5 should be gone
