You're much more forgiving of utd than you are the rhinos tad, they've dominated territory as they should but look disjointed with individuals panicking and trying to do it on their own. Set pieces pretty poor too. Salford have had a few chances to make it 2 aswell with leeds defence hardly assured.

I only comment on rhinos performances I see. not mentioned the last two.
given there's 6 changes it was always going to be disjointed. only 1 of saturdays back 4 playing. I'm not sure what else you'd really expect?

They're playing salford! If the rhinos made 6 changes and were this close against a championship side it'd be like 'Bullsgate' again. They should be much better there's a large chunk of the first choice players and those who have already played this year.

no i don't. I call it as I see it. rhinos have been supurb in defeat at times this year.
sometimes garbage.
leeds have been excellent tonight at times. just lacking a bit of luck and better finishing at times. we did hit the woodwork twice, 3 kicked off the line and a blatant penalty turned down.
some poor finishing too though

Observations from tonight

Darlow poor in that shootout.
Hejlde is no where near good enough
We’re so poor in the air defensively, someone like Nat Phillips would be welcome
Piroe would have scored 4
Rutter is still a long long way off. He’s very erratic and lacks a goal scorer’s intelligence
Gray very good again as was Ampadu.
Geldhart looks short of quality

We need a 10, final ball was poor too many times


Gyabi and Drameh must be gash if they couldn’t contribute tonight. The rest we know (LB RB CM well short)

Played some decent stuff but still should have beat Salford tonight considering the chances we created.
I was saying all night I don`t see a decent attacker in Rutter and his penalty miss was embarrassing for a 36 million pound player.
He likes to dance in the area and do the fancy stuff but cannot finish.
Hope I`m proved wrong.
Joffy not up to this standard either.
Shackleton the best player on the Leeds side for me.

Leeds are cursed in cups. Even when we've been good we've always lost to lower league teams almost every year.

0.7xg to 3.9xg. 33 shots to 7. We did everything but score. Darlow should have saved that Smith header.

We'll probably play worse this season and win, it was one of those games.
