Interesting interview from Singleton in the media today. Sounds like Furner hugely upset the camp early doors reading between the lines. Hes admitted he wasnt at his best all year on the back of that and felt it was time to move on. Couldn't wait to get back working with Mac and spoke very very highly of him.

Interesting in an article about honesty that he insinuates a lot about Leeds without having the gumption to say it, such as "I'm not saying the culture is bad at Leeds but..." and "I'm not saying it was dishonest at Leeds but...". Obvious interpretation of his chat with Sinny was that he was told he wasn't needed and knew it.

It's the right move for all parties. Brian Mac is one of the best coaches in the game and it's horses for courses between player and coach. Singo obviously likes his style.

Does lend more weight to the idea that Furner was not doing well at all with the squad he inherited...

The squad he inherited wasnt the best tho and he had an incredibly tough start.
