It's nice when the coach thinks he can do better than the players. I wonder if we will see BMD starting at 10 this week, given his alternative is Kirke?

Bad news for us, but sort-of good news for the academy guys, as they get a chance to show their worth imo, Singleton will play this week IMO.

1 game ban for Cross. Still can't believe he gets one for that, deserved for what he did btw, but the Westwood assault on Wellens goes, well, not even worth looking at by the RFL. They both looked similar to me, and both were clearly shown on t.v.

Don't think Brian Mac will be too pleased with Cross. At first look I couldn't see what the problem was, just seemed to run into him. Then I watched the replay.... Prop forwards running into scrum halves with elbows up off the ball. Tough. Really tough. Vive le biff etc.....

I don't think I can actually remember seeing the first 5 prop forwards unavailable at one time. Big test for Kirke. 4 carries won't get the job done this week, but he is capable of a decent performance.
