Good points. why ayling got another year's deal i will never know.
wober is a leader and we missed him. bamfords nowhere near fit, neither rodrigo and as for rutter deary me.
we take our chances first half we win easily. need to be more clinical. Still think we are better than 5 or 6 but you have to regroup and go again and I think this team will do that.
j would like to see another midfielder like gyabi in for aaronson and ayling dropped

I think sometimes the Board bow to the fans and offer the likes of Ayling a new deal and keep picking Bamford just because a lot of narrow minded Leeds fans think they`re legends.
Ayling had a great game against MU and has made continuous mistakes in every game since.
Bamford has done absolutely nothing since he has come back from his injury.

So Fifa have ordered Leeds to pay JKA £24.5m. So instead of just paying the fee at the time and then selling him, backing out of the deal has ended up costing the club £40m.

I can't wait for the full takeover and Orta to go. The last 2 years have been one shambles after another.

Yep completely agree re the full backs. It comes down to poor recruitment in that area, it’s criminal really. Same with the centre backs. Wober should have been signed in the summer. Struijk looks shot. Needs to go on loan, he’s young and has talent but he’s lost his confidence. We look soft right across the back line and in centre mid when no Wober and Adams in. Cooper has to come back in now and hopefully Wober back on Monday.

Thought it was £15.5m according to the accounts published? I do agree re Orta though, Rutter signing is a prime example of why we are where we are. £34m!!!!!! and he can’t get near starting 11. He’s got talent but not what we needed at this time. It should have gone on a good left/right back or a quality midfielder

The £15.5m was the transfer fee to Leipzig. The £24.5m is to JKA for loss of earnings from the 5 year contract that was agreed. I'd assume the fee includes some compensation because if not, and it's just lost wages, that amount equates to £95k a week over 5 years. Surely, we weren't going to pay him that. It makes the Seth Johnson deal look good value

An absolutely shocking performance after a good start. Hoping its just a blip but getting hammered in a game we really needed to win wont be great for team confidence.

Bet it’ll settle a lot lower than that. Leeds will appeal. What a complete poop show by the board though. Sooner they are gone the better, they’ve taken us as far as they can. I’m thankful for them getting bielsa in and that gets us back up but it’s reached the end of the road.

I thought the same that Bielsa wanted him and Dan James, Costa, Llorente, Firpo, Casilias,and got lucky with Raphina.
Who else did he bring in ? Harrison or was he already here?
Jesse too has brought in the likes of Adams and Wober 2 good signings but Kristenson, Aaronssen and Rutter not so.
Hell of a lot of money wasted that`s for sure.
Wrt signings I would really be tempted to go for Raya at Brentford and I would not lose too much sleep if Messlier were to leave which I might be in the minority there I know.
