Id rather we get more back up in the halves, and a decent full back, it doesn't have to be either or.

If we start losing players like Newman/ the next gen of our (talented) youngsters we will be in a very poor place.

If they are going to the NRL then it shows we are producing good players.

Hudds and Wigan are both losing young players to the NRL

Also it seems all it takes is for one person to post something on twitter and it’s seen as gospel these days.

Where I do agree is with us needing 2 quality starting half backs, if Milnes signs I don't think it is to fill one of those two spaces.

If Milnes is under contract we will have to pay him a bit more than hKR or he would not come. Next year sinfield should get some game time , more than this year . So we are a bit stronger already in halves plus Hooley should be better. I just think we need at least 1 quality forward as well and the cap is being spread too thinly on fillers. We keep signing players who will get you a bottom 3 of SL table finishing spot, so guess what will happen.

If Sinfield and Milnes are our starting halves next season, we will be guaranteed bottom 3!

As much potential as Sinfield has, he is not ready yet.
And Smith, who came across with a reputation of developing youth, hasn't given him any game time this season, which suggests that he agrees.
We need 2 quality starting halves to help get us out of the mess we are currently in.
To finish above the 9th / 10th place we are likely to finish in this season, the halves need to be an upgrade on Sezer and Austin.

Newman is verging on having chronic hamstring issues. We actually have some pretty good centres coming through as well as players like MacDonald.

Losing him wouldn’t be ideal in light of losing Walters to Wigan too but if he doesn’t want to be at Leeds what can you do?

Not sure where all this is coming from regarding Newman potentially leaving
Unless I am wrong there does not appear to be any evidence or a link to this twitter account suggesting a move to Canberra to at least see if from a genuine source.
