Yeah as much as I’ve loved Ayling his best days are well behind him. It shows how poor we are at RB that he’s our best option still. That must be sorted if we stay up. Same with LB. We’ve been saying it for last 18 months. We’re very weak in those areas especially defensively.



Mitrovic misses some key games as they play bottom 3 next I believe. Hopefully he’s banned for an extended period as then we play them after that

The central midfield still needs addressing, we won't be able to control games until we get at least a couple of midfielders who can keep the ball under pressure. I think JG knows that and it's why we're happy to stay organised and let the opposition have the ball.

Yes couldn't agree more. Roca is the only one who's any ability on the ball but he lacks a bit of physicality imo, he's a bit weak at times. You can see that the midfield has been designed for a RedBull system (I still can't beleive Orta thought that was a continuation of Bielsa ball) and that needs to change next year. We're in desperate need of a Maddison type player.

Can`t see him back much before the season ends if at all which is a major blow.

We`re not getting much luck what with Rodrigo missing plenty and now Adams.

Fingers crossed our only other 2 top performers Gnonto and Wober make it until the end of the season injury free.

As he's needed surgery it's probably a grade 3 hamstring tear, so at least 3 months.
