Won’t Hiku be at centre to replace SKD? To me We need more brain power and ball playing class than Milnes and Lewis can provide. Lewis is a good runner but not convinced he is the answer for us despite being viewed as a big name

You won't be alone! I'm sure GH is aware of the tone of these boards and other social media, plus recent articles in the 'real' media. I'm staying calm by assuming he has some really decent signings lined up. Its interesting that very little was said by the club when Austin left. None of the usual 'don't worry, we've got a plan' messaging despite our season being over except mathematically. I think they're aware that signing more project players just won't cut it this year.

With May joining Hull KR it pretty much guarantees Schneider won't be staying on after his loan deal, should we be considering him?

Seen very little of him but like his attitude and yes think should be considered, think would need some real experience next to him though.

Yes we should. He's good player who will get better, and he also kicks goals. If I my glass were 3/4 full I might speculate that the rumours regarding Salfords parlous financial state are true, and that we are planning a bold double swoop for Croft and Ackers. Add Schneider to that and you've addressed three spine positions with a quota space free for a full back or a prop. Surely GH has a plan?

Fear not.
GH is currently extremely busy in the transfer market.
Leeming, Walters, Austin, Sezer, now potentially Newman.
Plenty happening behind the scenes!
