Would have taken a point before kick off. But after Liverpool and Brentford both in form losing we really had to get the 3. Rodrigo clearly not match fit. Ayling absolutely terrible. Harrison why didn`t he clear with his right foot? Then scores a belter with his right foot Need Villa and Scum to win tomorrow. Sommerville and Aaronssen very light and easily get pushed off the ball. Fortunately we have some players coming back.
Deffo a decent point against a very good team that are full of confidence. To come back twice shows good character. Big positives are Bamford and Harrison scoring. Should do thier confidence world of good. Gnonto has to start ahead of Summerville next game imo. Maybe even at 10 with Sini on right. Summerville defensively is poor
Some big games coming up after international break and all at home. If we can get something at Wolves that would set us up nicely. Cannot believe Bournemouth won though but I can see Forrest getting dragged into it.
Aaronson looked really good early in the season but he’s struggled with the pace a physicality of the PL. he’s only young so may come good yet. Needs major strength conditioning in the summer
Ayling was horrendous yesterday, continually out of position, beat for pace and oppo had him on strings, a defensive disasterclass. We completely had them for the last 30 mins in that game why we couldn’t play like that all game I don’t know. Looks like we are going down to the wire this season again so here’s hoping Lord Bamfords goal along with Harrison’s can spark them up as they have offered nothing in last few weeks.
We paid the price for not cashing in when we were on top at the beginning of the 2nd half. It's one of the stories of our season. Ayling was given the runaround by Mitoma, but he wasn't given much help by Summerville. In isolation It's a good point and it's so close at the bottom, a couple of positive results and everything changes.
Agree about Summerville who doesn`t want to do the hard graft like helping out his full back and boy did Ayling need some help. Maybe if Gracia had been appointed as soon Jesse left we might have been in a better position. As good as Skubala is for the youngsters I do think with Gracia in charge we might have got more than we did. All in the past I know.
Not sure if it`s me, most probably is. But watching the teams in and around us such as Wolves, Forrest, Bournemouth, Southampton and Everton. They all look better than us imo.
