Do we have the quota space for Sezer? Who’s currently our quota slots?

This will be controversial but I was hoping Myler would look better with a decent partner and he did. I know it's only one game, and he looked ok not a worldy but it means we don't have to make any snap decisions or get bent over by a players demands.
You're probably right, except if Lui gets injured we're straight back to square one, and IMHO Myler today is at best a mid-table club kind of half. He might do for 2020 at a pinch while we line up the right replacement and I would live with that, but it's unambitious of us if we do.

Turkey is not in the EU. Have you been listening to Nigel Farage or Juan Cornetto?
In any event,, Sezer has worked his way back to being first-choice half for a team with a top four shot in the NRL. They won't be letting him go this season. Next season, with Williams arriving, possibly.

I really am rhinoms and haven't stolen his Avatar!
100% back Kev & GH re-Hastings i know he's a dynamite 7 but that NRL clause isnt a risk worth taking considering the money he'd be on.

If we could afford Maloney, I’d be surprised if we could fit him in under the cap without the third marquee spot being agreed. Would welcome him here otherwise. Might prefer Sezer on balance though.
I guess it depends how much the lowest earner out of Maloney, Merrin and Hurrell we’re on, as they’d no longer be exempt. Say for example it was Maloney £350,000, Merrin £250,000, Hurrell £200,000. The cap value would be £150,000 + £150,000 + £200,000 = £500,000 which would probably be fine

The thing is, we don't know and never will so it all becomes a bit academic. One thing I do trust heatherington with is keeping us solvent and on the right side of the cap.

Tony Gigot could be available, worth a punt?

He’s a good player at Stand off or Full Back, but they are not where we need to strengthen, we’ve just signed Lui and have Walker. We need a number 7.

Quality 7, wing, prop, 9 and we might be good enough for playoffs. Should have a decent chance to get those in given the amount of players off contract next year
