Yes but a small squad didn't have to be lacking in quality. Foreshaw should have been replaced and they signed JKA ! dreadful....

I think they are both to blame Tad on those two. Orta is the director of football and scouts many of the players we buy. I also think Bielsa was presented certain players that weren't ultimately good enough because of a very reserved transfer budget strategy in that second summer in the PL. Now i'm not saying Orta has been poor, far from it. He's got a fair few signings right, but there has been some very poor strategy / planning from the owner and from Orta which is why we're 17th in the prem and yet again in a relegation battle.

Just relegate us. We've gone from one of the best footballing teams in the league, to a turgid mess in 2 years after spending 200m on new players. How Orta thought Marche was a natural successor to Bielsa I'll never know. I'd be very apprehensive about going to Elland Road next week if I were him.

How many signings have failed over the last few years? All bar Raphina, Gnonto, Roca, Adams, Rodrigo of late? Mckennie jury out and Rutter wrong signing at the wrong time.

I’m utterly depressed after that today. Gutless, powderpuff… headless chickens going to the slaughter. Nuno or Benitez needs to come in next week. If we go down we keep them too as they’ll get us back up. I’m absolutely raging at the board

Once again Bamford and Harrison are absolutely crap with not many others getting above a 5 out of 10.
Why do we pick Bamford and Harrison is beyond me other than trying to please the more vocal Leeds supporters who still rate them along with Bielsa.
Orta absolutely needed to have a manager nailed on before getting rid of Marshe.
Rutter was not the signing we needed whilst in a relegation scrap anyone can see that.
And one other who tends to escape any criticism is Messlier who for me has been to blame for quite a few of the goals we have conceded along with his distribution.
