Good performance today but lightweight up front.

I like Summerville I think he’s got good potential but he’s a bit off yet, lacks composure with the final ball. Raphinha scores a couple today if he was still there. Hope Sinesterra back asap. We’re relying on too many young players in that area. Gnonto Summerville Rutter. None above age 20. Rutter had some nice touches but clearly lacking a bit of match fitness. Lost count of how many times Harrison lost the ball in key moments.

Regarding the new manager search I honestly don’t know what to make of that Schreuder. He clearly has been well thought of given the clubs he’s been at (Barca Ajax Hoffenhiem Brugge etc) but he’s got a mixed record. Sounds disastrous his spell at Ajax. But I’m not going to write him off personally and will give him backing if he gets the job. I’d sooner have Santo or Gerard though personally.

If it goes wrong Orta and Radz will have serious bother from the fans.

There`s got to be some massive concerns that even if we appoint a manager tomorrow.
They will have less than a week to get to know the players, the system and how the opposition play.
Yes I`m sure they can watch videos of our players and our opponents, but.
You would have thought a manager had already been lined up and agreed before sacking JM.
To go at risk in the position we are currently in is foolish at best.

That was always going to be a problem to be fair. If only there was a big break in the middle of the season that would've given a new manager a month to work with the team

Yep yet more bad planning by Orta and Radz. Tbh I don’t mind them taking an extra few days to get the best appointment possible, it’s better than rushing to just get someone in and pray it works. I’d happily have Gerrard Santo or Benitez. I believe either would keep us up. The latter 2 have very good Prem records.

This all boils down to not sacking Marsch earlier. They needed to be brave. World Cup was perfect timing, and failing that it was clear in early Jan it wasn’t working even after mini pre season. The sooner the 9ers buy us the better as the current ownership has reached the end.

leeds gave bielsa a month more than he should have got too.
marsch had won 2 out of 3 before the World Cup, and only lost at spurs due to a wicked deflection and an awful VAR decision.i understand why he wasnt sacked there and then.
Gerrard and the spanish waiter would be a shocking choice. nuno no issues with

Bielsa should have gone at Christmas last year absolutely. But Marche should have gone after the Fulham game. I really liked him personally and wanted him to succeed, but it was clear there was no structure in defence or attack, and no tactical nous.
Nuno's record is as good or better as the likes of Dyche and Howe, and I think most fans would take either of them now.

Apart from Nuno and Gerrard, I'm not sure who else we could get at this point. I wouldn't mind Carrick at Boro to be honest.

I personally fancied the idea of Gerrard before he went to Villa.
But not so sure now.
Nuno if he would take it until the end of the season would work.
Unless Southampton offer him a longer contract which he will take without doubt.

It's become clear to me that Michael Beale was the brains behind Gerard's managerial success. As soon as he left for QPR it fell apart for him at Villa. It also seems the players hated him by the end.
