Fusitu'a has some real positives when he plays. But he's a marquee player. That should mean he has a massive impact on results when he plays. He just doesn't do that, and to be fair few wingers do as they just don't get the ball enough. If he's happy to accept a lower wage commensurate with his impact on the game from the wing then happy to keep him.

We have so many positions to replace.

Keeping Fusi on lower wage makes some sense but he is a QS and only plays 50%.
My concern is we spend next season and the season after ( most likely) with the same issue of Newman and Fusi out half a season each , an aging myler at FB and relying heavily on back up players.

No players currently of contract for next season should be retained, and some under contract should be told to look elsewhere. Squad is atrocious.

I agree but the club have set a huge task for themselves.

We need proven quality at 1,6 &7. More XP at 9 if its good.
Then we need a winger or centre if fusi leaves,then we need a backrower if Bentley leaves.
To get all that the club needs to be willing to splash the cash and be ambitious with the signings,a lot of luck and have started early.

Who still thinks that sounds more likely than status quo of looking late at what's left,is cheap and "will do a job" ?.

The club could shock us but it feels like if they had a big name to shout they might have done after the wakey game,or Walters leaving,or Austin leaving, or etc

They will sell enough regardless. Only loss of sponsorship / corporate will make a difference.
I csnt see STs or attendance dropping low enough to make them notice
