He wants to shape the squad and the Leeds culture as he wants it, and he needs a coach who will buy into that vision closely. That isn’t every coach’s idea of a good time when it’s their reputation and job on the line - it’s less control than some would require.
I certainly don’t imagine KS is keen to repeat the Furner experience and so Agar seems the default choice.
Two new players in key positions on Sunday, will be very interesting to see if it helps.
