Romano seems to think talks are still going well and a deal could be agreed on Saturday, so we'll see.

The Juve manager has confirmed a deal for McKennie has been agreed. So it's almost done.
Leicester have bid £20m for Harrison. If Gordon is worth £45m the Harrison is worth at least £30m

Not a great performance, especially first half, and we played into their hands by being reluctant to keep the ball. I felt for Roca and Harrison as they weren't helped by Greenwood in midfield. I have a feeling Greenwood may become Marche's Tyler Roberts. Hopefully, McKennie means we won't see Greenwood in midfield much in future.
On a positive note, Bamford and Rutter looked sharp and Harrison grew into the game. It was good to see Sinistera get decent minutes, but he's definitely not running at full speed yet.

greenwood was poor but that's all I agree with really. First 20 they bombed in long balls and picked up scrappy second balls. we rode out the storm and it could have been 7 or 8. officials were awful. never really looked like losing that one. bamford looked good, rutter was rusty but did well. wober should have confined cooper to the bench from now on.

Agree re Greenwood, he’s a way off and shows why we need Mckennie. How long is Foreshaw out for?

Rutter looked rusty but showed flashes of class, same with Sinisterra. Thought Roca passed ball well, interested to see if Firpo gets more confidence now, he took that goal well. Bamford is looking better and better he’s a class act. Let’s hope he stays fit.

Onto Forrest now. Manger has been backed big time. Let’s hope we now kick on

Not impressed by the performance at all.
Admittedly some good goals but that was it other than Bamford who looked good and Rutter who could be a good signing.
To allow a Division one side 8 shots at goal in the first half shows how bad we were.
Roca, Greenwood, and Firpo not good enough. Harrison terrible first half but got better.
No doubt JM will say it was a positive performance but not for me.

when you spend 90 minutes lumping high balls into big attackers you will always create chances from scrappy play.
