Bar Saints, you see the same kind of grumbles on all the bigger teams boards. Getting the ingredients right is clearly hard. I mean look at Wigan, they have Field and French. Are the fans happy?

This is not me saying it’s been great or even acceptable but i just don’t see it as consistent failure.

There aren’t players like JP and Gaz Ellis about that move clubs like they used to SL is a totally different beast tgese days, same goes for OS signings. Which other SL club has signed the current England captain who is in their prime of their career from another SL club, Sam Tomkins is the only one i could probably think of, and he wasn’t in his prime, it just doesn’t happen anymore

There’s clips of the Austin podcast surfacng on Social Media about the NZ game, now if true (I think Austin seems prone to hyperbole) it dors make GH look a bit if a tit, but if Austin really does want to stay at Leeds he’s going about it terribly, not sure slagging your employer off in public is the best tactic .

Players knew the game was happening months before hand. It wouldn't have come as a shock to them that they were asked to play in the game.

Austin has cut his ties with the club. Sooner he is out the better. Unfortunately he's all we've got at the moment and he has to play.

Yeah just checked the game was announced in May.

Rhys Martin resigned a new contract in June, he should have checked the small print

I don’t think we paid a fee but Briscoe was seen as a bit of a result at the time given he was rumoured to be NRL bound, probably puts him in that same modern bracket as Bentley.

Not British but Moon and to a lesser extent Sezer were also attempts at this.
