JJB looked gutted in his presser when they told him GH had said there would be announcement next week.

Fair play to GH he keeps his cards close to his chest. If i was a betting man my 50p would go on Rohan Smith but we will see. That is based on nothing tho.

Think this is another example of poor leadership from GH in the way this has come out. Whatever we think of JJB he deserved to be briefed by GH not find out second hand. We don't know if its an appointment for next season or immediately available or who is being retained from the current management team.The whole process seems a very amateurish way to go about things for one of the biggest clubs in the game.

Amateurish is just in keeping with lots of things at the club over the last few years, wouldnt expect this process to be any different.

Keep employing people you like, or people you know, or people who played for the club, over people actually qualified with a track record of success, and this is what you get, we'r the laughing stock of Rugby League at the minute and have been far too often over the last few year.

Lets see what GH comes up with this time.

That was painful to watch. I don't know if keeping his cards close to his chest should extend to the current coaching staff, they should be informed.

Agree with you and the others. Very poor management, could easily lead to JJB being distracted for the next week and out of respect for the work he has done, JJB deserved to be told before the corporate customers.
Last night was clearly the most committed display this year for mine.

Can Brodie gives us the low down on what the sleeve said?

Won’t do Jonesy any harm to be a bit lost for words at times. He likes talking and being listened to. He is also is a master at directing questions to things he likes talking about. He needs to learn a bit about discretion too……

We can only assume Gary was successful in appointing someone from his recent trip to Oz then? Given that he only came back on Tuesday and then runs his mouth about a coach announcement on the Thursday.

It needs to happen tho Seth.

Unfortunately whoever it is will probably start at the bottom of the league after Monday, with a host of injuries in the backs with Walker added to that list now and with a run of 6 difficult away games on the bounce just over the horizon.

But it will be a fresh start for everyone and we will have to see how it goes.
