I'd be very surprised if he either Gale or the club had any desire for him to leave. As it happens I am practically a next door neighbour to him and my impression from a few brief chats is that he absolutely loves it at the Rhinos. On his performance last night:lovely pass to Myler to set up Newman's first, great couple of side steps and offload to put Dywer in, great cut out ball to Newman that only required a decent pass to Prior to make it a try, and the inside ball that led to Newman's burst for the line. In short he was directly inolved in 3 scores and put another on a plate only for it to be bombed. Yes, he dropped a kick off with the sun directly in his eyes (I'll give him a pass for that) and ended up running the ball on the 5th when he should have been hanging back for a drop goal, (which wasn't the smartest play), but anybody who seriously thinks that our fortunes would improve on the back of his departure need to give their head a shake.
