I don't mind Austin and I would be fine with a one year extension, but that's all Id be offering.

I quite like Austin. What he tries doesn't always come off but he's the nearest to a game changer we've got. In an ideal world he'd be a threat but not our main point of attack though.

One year and no extra money would the absolute most for me. Obviously better than the prospect of Myler in the halves ( shudders) but if we want to challenge next year we really should be exploring all avenues. Maybe the protracted delay in announcing one way or another is a fair indication that we are doing that.

On a podcast he said something along those lines yes.

Fair play.
Can't see him getting a gig in the NRL.
But he'll definitely get a 2 year option in SL, whether that's Fev or someone else.
Maybe that's the hold up - he's waiting to be sure that Fev get promoted....

Should we have signed Gildart until the end of the season considering we have been playing at least one and sometimes 2 second rowers there?
