Would be interesting after all his gobbing off on TV etc saying to NRL clubs to come and get him that he would end up at Featherstone.

I get the feeling there hasn't been a stampede of potential suitors, and going on his performances over the whole of the last two years, why would there be?

I don't think a bid from Featherstone would be at all 'audacious'. They're looking to get promoted and enquiring as to whether someone like Austin is available makes perfect sense. As you say Arthur, if you look at his overall from since joining Leeds and before that at Warrington, I doubt whether there's a queue of NRL clubs interested.

I know they are in the process of a takeover but does not appear it has been signed on the dotted line yet.
Re Croft its rumoured NRL clubs are interested, so would imagine end up there if anywhere.

They are now Matthew Ellis from DIY Kitchens has taken over. He's absolutely loaded.

Wakey's intended new owner has already put quite a bit of money in so they could realistically be making major offers before the transfer deadline. You'd still need Salford to accept and the players to want to go.

Which is why i found it odd there was a clamour from some fans to give him whatever deal he wanted.

I'd actually say that can't really be levelled at myler, he's been pretty consistent at what he's good at for some time now.
