Worst thing about snowy weather is having to listen to Georgie & Andrew on Radio Leeds. She's as dizzy and unappealing as a vomit strewn fairground ride and he has the personality of a hard boiled egg. One of the ones where the yolk goes all grey round the outside.

Once delivered a washing machine to Georgie Spanswick when she lived in Esholt – arse you could land a plane on.

Got to work quicker than usual today
motorway (M1 into leeds) had less traffic than a normal day
radio leeds talked as if the world had ended

It was excellent. I got out of bed at 8.30 and rang the office to say I'd been sat in gridlocked traffic so was going to "try again" in about an hour.

Had breakfast, cup of coffee, watched a bit of telly, played some X-Box, knocked one out and then set off for work at 10.05am and the journey took ten mins longer than usual.

I intend to leave early to "avoid all the problems I had getting in today".
