I also think it’s worth pointing out the actual eventual replacement for Parcell was Leeming. Imo they have very similar attributes, and Leeming was/is younger. Just didn’t develop attitude or playing wise like was maybe expected.

Every half we are in for seems to be either signing elsewhere or turning us down, thats the facts as i currently see it. Reality is its not currently looking great recruitment wise.

You have to consider it in the context of the 2019 season. We moved on both Parcell and Lolohia - who were both proving ineffectual in a side that was in relegation battle - to free up quota spots for Lui and Martin. They both made an immediate impact, got us out of trouble, and played key roles in the 2020 CC win. Parcell may have gone on to play well for KR but at the point when he left he had been average and injury prone for 18 months. It was a tough but correct decision in my opinion.

Parcell was the easiest to move on IIRC (not necessarily the 1st choice to move on but still) In came Lui (though we all thought it was Hastings - what a thread that was!) and we managed to sort ourselves out and grind out the replete wins.

IIARC Parcell absolutely destroyed us at the ruck first game against us and generally seems to have decent games against us.

Oh and 2019 Leeds were horrendous.

All the Parcell talk is boring. He was moved for a reason and the plan worked so move on!
We have issues to fix and I can’t believe for one minute that we will not sign anyone..it’s July not January (although recent weather might suggest otherwise). Too many on here with their glass half empty. Juast have a little faith.

Reality is you have no idea what our recruitment for next year is.

Hopefully there is a plan but the longer it goes on the more concerned I would be. If Austen signs elsewhere and we don't have anyone locked in we are in panic buy territory or Myler to halfback. It is beginning to feel like the Hardaker scenario. Many on here accused him of putting salary over potential success going to Leigh. Now he's in a CC final and 2nd in Superleague. There is no way Leigh should be outperforming Leeds.
