Maguire has been one of the best defenders in the last 2 major international tournaments. He's levels above Tarkowski and Coady, he's a great player at the wrong club.

Yep, and in a team who sits back and counter attacks. He lacks pace to play in a team who press high up the pitch and dominates possession, teams countering that get in behind him too easily. Now i;m not saying he's a bad defender, he's definitely not but he needs to be in right system, he's been good for England and is good on the ball, but Southgate system suits him with it's defensive nature.

On another note i see little Willy called up for Italy again for the upcoming games.. looks a good spot by Orta, went well for U21's other night.
