Ok I hold my hands up but I really don`t get it with Harrison yet the pundits/commentators keep saying how good he is.
As for James I`d take the 20 million on offer from Spurs without doubt.
Klich is another I would let go and I hate to say it but I think Cooper is a better option than Llorente.

Klich has been good in most of the games when he's come on this season. Llorente is a liability. Struijk should move to CB when Firpo is back, or put Cooper there.

Agree Tad. Llorente was all over the place, he’s lucky Cooper is injured. If Firpo is back soon I’d put Struijk at CB for him. Harrison took so many poor options last night and his corner taking was dire. A decent point in the end though imo though should have won. Geldhart should have taken one of his good chances. Bamford looked handy when he came on, pulled defenders all over the place. Klich was very good, he’s much better than last year. Think fighting for his place has done him world of good

I think not being flogged in training every day has helped too. this fresh approach seems to be much better for the players

On another note, Angus Kinnear programme notes (about signings) before the game were a disgrace, he's properly wound up the fans. He's the gift that keeps giving (or not).. he needs to really thinks what he's writing.

Apparently PSV want £40m for Gakpo, so I can't see us going for him. I think we'll only sign someone if James goes to Spurs or Fulham

I agree Klich has been better than last season but imo not good enough.
Struijk or Cooper alongside Koch at the back but the worry there is Firpo backed up by Harrison on that side.
A decent side will exploit it for sure.
James has to go but that won`t bring any money in until next season.
Be better taking 25 million for Harrison.
I doubt we will come up with 40 million for Gakpo and will probably spend 10/15 million on someone nobody has heard of.

I agreed with the sentiment that we want people to improve us and we don't want to throw lots of money at people and have spent badly, but I do think we need more options going forward. As someone said above there are plenty decent players who can be picked up quite cheaply. The Brighton squad has had a fraction of the money spent on it over the last three years. We have left it too late this window we were looking at a stunner all night and were now looking to kop off with a ten to twoer
