Rugby League as a sport is very honest, you almost always get what you deserve. We do not deserve anything from this game or season. Leeds Rhinos playing squad is a shambles, its taken years to get to here, and we are terrible as a playing squad. The surgery required to the team is not reserved for the forwards, the backs need to be replaced too. From 2-5 we don’t have a single player playing today that should be at the club. The lack of leadership in the group is staggering, we don’t have a single player that is genuine captain material, and that takes some doing, the incompetence in building the squad has been incredible.
It’s hard to see how we can turn this around to be genuine challengers again until virtually the whole squad has been replaced.
