Pity we cant magically combine Gibsons defence and reading of the game with Watkins attacking threat, step and offload ability.

Maybe GH is spending his money on working on a machine to do that instead of spending 100k on Gleeson

I wouldn't spend 100p on gleeson!!
Over-rated imo and anyone who backs his own team to lose is a c#*t!

Gibson and smith r all solid players but hardy a senior all u hav 2 look at is look at hall now he is a class winger and one of the top try scorer why cos senior is on his side...donald class last year this year nothing so far...the reason is senior mayb not has much now but the bloke is a world class centre and has the abilty 2 pull 2 players 2 him creating space and that is why we need 2 go out and buy 2 class centres, one 2 replace senior when he retires and one 2 replace Gibson, and i would get rid of Gibson and keep smith has in my view smith gives us more opitions

Ok, first of all, Senior is playing really well this season, regardless of what some muppets on here say. I think he possibly has another season as centre left in him. Hopefully one of the kids will replace him then, but I do agree about the other centre, unless Smith really does make it his own.

You have some valid points, but please use full stops and less text speak as it is so much easier to read.

Oh, and welcome!!!!!!

I'm still not 100% sure about Gibson. Since his return he has been largely anonymous. He has been alright, but has not showed any signs that he has more to offer. I really hope he can find something to push him to the next level and start making some real in-roads into defences. He is a lot more assured than Ablett in the centres and for the reason of stability alone he is probably the best option at the moment, but I personally want to see Smith have a decent run there.

Senior has impressed me this year and I must hold my hand up and say I gave him an unfair amount of criticism during last season, but have never been so happy to be proven wrong.

I do too. I think yesterday highlighted a big mistake made by the club in dropping the lad for the previous two matches.
