I thought Senior played well, Fair enough he made one or two mistakes but so does everyone its not fair to pick him out of the bunch. Like somebody else has already mentioned, it was a team performance BTW who was that young looking lad you had out tonight? havent seen him before he played ok aswel for the 10 minutes or so i saw him playing for.
It's not hard to see Senior has his best days behind him. You may get some fans denying that, it's their choice. He's older, slower and balder . But he's still an ask to put down 1-1, always danger close to the line, solid in defence and knows how to put his winger through.
He can still do a job for us for this year but the club need to stop relying on him the way we once did. Essentially we over rely on Seniors left side. Before teams doubled up on him because if they didn't he went through and ran the length. When they often did it created room for his wingers or danny on the inside. Now he's not the same threat from deep pace wise they are able to give him more room and keep tabs on Donald and co. Add into the fact that very little production comes directly from the right side three quater and Senior is a much easier proposition for opposition teams to deal with.
We need a new face at 3 or one of the youngsters to step up to the plate cause teams some serious problems so teams start to take notice of the right hand side.
i thought senior was supurb and had donald been outside him we would have got a couple more trys.
not knocking hall but donald is lightening quick,hall isn't. donald would have made more of the space offered

None of Leeds TEAM could be accused of not giving 100%. Yes individuals did make mistakes but it was due to impressive Manly pressure and when we had to try and force the game.
Good effort by Leeds yesterday but we came up against a very very good Manly team
Still think that Hall is out of his depth mate - give him a couple of years in the reserves then bring him up to the first team but while Webb is injured we've not many other options I guess.
I agree. Don't think Hall is good enough yet. He's got poor ball skills and is not quick enough yet. He needs to be a bit more explosive. He's got all the physical atributes so I hope it will come in time.
I dont think Senior is at fault he's played those flicks out to the wing for years, only difference is he doesn't have his trusty wing man Donald anymore, those two togehter gelled really well and knew what each other was doing. Now big Keith has a very very inexperienced kid by his side and I think he forgets this at times and then people make him out to be the bad guy.
I stand by what I said halfway through last season, bring in a new experienced centre to of replaced Toopi, that way we could of gradually pulled the youth through, rather than throwing them in at the deep end. Put Smith back at 5 on the right and bring Scotty backover to the left where he's more comfortable.
I agree mate, we got exposed big time on our right centre. Ablett and then Watkins were getting ripped to shreds. I said all off season we needed a replacement. And a good team showed why tonight.[/b]
