Definitely not been the player he was. He needs to be part of proper four prop rotation and then we might get a bit more out of him. So galling that Holroyd is likely getting a big ban. Anyway if Prior is going back we better get cracking with recruitment. Wire have already sorted three out, and good props come at a premium. Feels like we've been left in the blocks.

To be fair Powell's had half a season to look at his team and take a view. Our previous coach didn't believe in props. Smith may well come to the same view but we're starting way behind for sure.

I don't think it takes much to come to the conclusion we're very light in that area, he has watched the videos too. If he wasnt aware already I'd be very concerned about his coaching credentials. The warrington fans have been bemoaning their lack of props since preseason too, Powell hasn't just now come to the same conclusion either I'm sure he's known if for a long time.
