I don't mean we leave signings til later on, I mean we don't often announce the signings until later on.

The timing of announcing signings is often a PR/marketing thing, Wigan chose to release al of the signings on the same day for that reason, we (and other clubs) just approach it differently.

In other news - John Kear sacked by Widnes! This surely paves the way for GH to appoint him as our new coach. Or maybe not.

I also don't think we should be overly panicking just because Wigan have announced a few signings, we as a club always announce signings later on, it doesn't mean nothing has been done, look at other clubs in the league like Saints they are similar to us in that they keep these things quiet mid season.

A similar role to Dunnemann.

Yeah Dunnemann was great, not sure how i feel about the Roberts signing, would rather sign a younger halfback, but if its a 1 year deal it could en up been a decent punt.

But it could all the clickbait paper talk, so we shall see.

To be fair, Dunnemann was 27 and one of the best halves in SL when we signed him. Roberts on the other hand is 32 and probably hasn't had a decent season in about 6 years.

According to Matt Shaw - Austin negotiations have stalled because we have only offered a one year extension and Austin wants two years.

Looks like the stumbling block for Austin signing is the length of contract.Leeds have offered a one year deal whereas Austin is after two years.
