Yeah the Roberts deal is likely to happen from what I’ve heard too. Straight in for Sezer, Austin to stay. Those other combos can’t be first choice either, if we are to compete.
A lot depends if Newman can ever stay fit. He’s the strike and energy in the team.

Sad times if there's any truth in the rumour and Roberts is the level we're looking at. I do hope Austin stays on this years form, but fk me I'd rather give Sinfield the shirt next year than Tyrone bloody Roberts.

Won’t be costing that much, as not in NRL now. We’d be doing him a favour really. Leaves lots of cap space.
Sinfield nowhere near ready, and think club are wondering how good he’ll end up/ not guaranteed to make the cut…….

Takes a quota spot so that's enough for me, I don't care whether he's on peanuts whereever Sinfield is in his development he's better than the 32 year old version on Roberts. If it is true it'll get some backlash as it smacks of desperation and scraping the barrel.

Oh yeah, it’ll get absolutely vilified on here. But fwiw I think there’s a decent player in Roberts, and might actually bring Sinfield on as plays in a similar structured way. Didn’t work out at Wire, but will be different circumstances now. Not marquee, less expectation, will be hungrier too as realises final chance at elite level…
