What worries me about this is that we should be prioritising a fullback as well as a 7. I'd be amazed if we replace 1, 6 and 7 in one off-season, so Austin leaving would surely mean Myler is our starting fullback or halfback, which doesn't fill me with confidence given his age.

I'm sure we are as we have done in he past.Clubs today are quite reluctant to sell players mid season especially their best.Salford turned down a large fee for Dupree.Easier said than done signing once the season is underway.

It’s all quite weird, we keep extending contracts for players already under contract but not re-signing anyone out of contract or new for next year.

All feels very reactive again , like we are on back foot. Wanted Walters to stay he’s off to Wigan, offered Tindall a deal he’s off as well. Apparently after fitzgibbon, he is off to wire and so far linked to goudemand who is Ok but nothing else.

Surely not him that played for Warrington few years ago. He was awful better with what we have.

Hope it’s a case of someone looking at the fact he played for smiths at norths, and the fact we likely need a half, putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.
