JKA is separate from any transfer budget according to Kinnear last season. It's mad he was ever worth £17m, he's only played about 4 games since he left and has barely stayed fit

If you are all honest you will finish around 15th if you dont spend in January. If you spend whatever transfer budget you have, which wont be much if you are honest, say £15m-£20m you will finish 14th.

Whats the point? Save the money and add it to next seasons budget and buy better quality players.

Interesting point Marty.
I`m not as optimistic as you as I think Newcastle will strengthen enough to be safe.
Burnley and Norwich my favourites to go down along with Watford, Brentford or Leeds.
So 15th to 20th is going to be tight.

Struijk, Rodrigo and Bamford may be involved against WH. I doubt they'll start, but hopefully they'll be on the bench at least

I don;t think we'd spend at all if we didn't have a long term injury to Phillips and also Bamford being injured most of season. We're going to need Dallas as cover for left and right back too now so that reduces options in midfield even further. Tbh Marty i don't think we've much of a budget anyway from reports.. i think it could well be loan signing/s.

Thank the lord. I see from Bielsa's comments Drameh has played his last game for us ! Bielsa pulled no punches.

It seems Drameh sees himself more suited to the Championship after going against the advice of Bielsa.
Very strange decision on his part.

I agree, I think I it’s still touch and go particularly if Phillips and even More so Bamford keeps missing games. Leeds have only 1 real centre forward in the club, which makes them very vulnerable. Burnley still have 3 even after the blow of losing Wood.
