Neither you nor I know what brass we chucked at those players......so totally and utterly irrelevant point to make. It doesnt matter one jot whom is acting on his behalf, it's a game of offer and counter offer, if someone offers more than we are prepared to and him and his management company are happy with that offer.....Tara chuck. Some folk are trying to make a right intriguing tale when it isn't. If you're not wanting to write that email, draft a letter or pop across to his office and voice your concerns in person.
Gotcha, you make this management company sound like isis. If Walker wants to stay, he will stay.
He has to pay the difference what his management company would have earnt. Sure I bet you would just do that too, no really. And that management company will have far too much influence on players over next couple of years, too much now.

If you don't know anything, then why come on here shouting off about it to others? Most know what we did back then, it was how we managed to get the generation of players we did. Otherwise we would never have had it for you to try and use as an argument now.
What was public is the £25k minimum your first team squad members was on. That's 15 years ago. Here we are talking about £10k. It is so lucky our management, that you say you hold in high esteem, did not follow your attitude, as we would never have had the period we have had of such good players. How weird that someone wouldn't want to repeat what made us so successful, and not only that but get so uppity about it when others suggest we should.
As you seem naive to what is behind the first team, let me tell you we have sone players coming through that in some of them are better still than Jack. There is absolutely zero chance of you seeing them prosper, if the club don't pay realistic wage, and if they club take your attitude to contract discussions.

If that's true, which as you know jacks family I'm sure it is. Then that to me speaks volumes about his manager. Operating for his own gain rather than his clients.
Could you imagine if you went to a financial adviser to buy a house and they just found you mortgages that would give them the highest cut, even if it resulted in you paying a higher repayment. Unethical.
Anyway he seems a right muppet that manager- always mouthing off on Twitter.

You are without doubt the worst kind of know it all on this forum. Your claims of knowing every financial detail of offers and contracts just smack of attention seeking. If any player, past or present has told you what happened during contract negotiations (which would be stupidity beyond belief) then you come onto a public forum spouting it off, I would expect a backlash from said player/ management/ club. The club will do its business within its structures, if demands aren't met, then parting of the ways is inevitable. Give over dramatising events, you're only impressing yourself.

Ah the usual if a know nowt losing an argument. Like i said coming on mouthing off at people when you openly admit you know nothing is just a low. I certainly don't know everything, I do know about Jack, and everyone who was around supporting fifteen years ago know how the golden generation came about. You don't, that's fine, but keep it to yourself then.
I maybe in the minority here but I don't think 40k a year for a 17yr old who actually looks better than our current no1 looks that ridiculous.
I know it keeps getting said, and not sure if to much if a difference, but he's eighteen next month, and this next contract is from November. The kid has moved out of home and looking to set up with his girlfriend. He won't get 40k, unless he takes the silly Leigh offer, but at the same time the £10k offer from Leeds is equally ridiculous. As stated this is his second professional contract, and he backed himself like he was advised to do when signing his first professional contract. The offer was less than Alex Sutcliffe who is yet to make his debut, but equally very good. And half what Cameron Smith was given as a first professional contract. These are the things people miss when trying to just defend the club at every opportunity without thinking of the bigger picture first.
To put in context, the £40k you mention we were paying some of our golden generation at eighteen also.
Losing what argument? You know diddly and if by some miracle some player told you his financial details and you come gobbling it off on a public forum.......one word......idiot.
