I picked him out when he outplayed Phillips 3 years ago I think when he was only 16 maybe.

Cmon Chapy nobody has ever outplayed Phillips in the history of the world hes the Yorkshire Pirlo.

Never creates a chance or scores a goal but as some of you have said thats not the job of a midfielder.

Shackleton and Cresswell out until February
No update on Rodrigo and Struijk
Bamford fit, not not match fit.

Strange no update on Rodrigo and Struijk... they were only minor injuries so i would expected them back. maybe keeping Burnley guessing? if no Rodrigo or Bamford starting we may struggle to create against Burnley. could be a close one.

We most definitely need to spend on that midfield in Jan. A lot of damage could be done by March, Phillips is absolutely key to our play.

Nope. They have a few covid cases and injuries, but other than Pope, their likely to have their first 11 available. Including Cornet who didn't play last night.

It does seem a strange one as I was expecting both Rodrigo and Stuijk back for the Villa game going on what was said previously.
Play Roberts up front Sunday as their defence is pretty physical.
Barkley or Dele Ali on loan would help in January.
I also think Greenwood is a better option than Klich in midfield but perhaps lacks the physicality.

I reckon Dyche was saving some of the players for the Leeds game with the MU game used as a free hit so to speak.
Expect a different proposition from Burnley Sunday.
