Fair enough if we could find one.

Looking like we need a centre or FB. Our pack is going ok although if Holroyd got injured we might struggle. He’s been a machine this year.

Unlike last season we should have enough cover in the pack.
Tet comes in for Tommy and Bentley in for McDonnell.
It's the backs where we are going to feel it.
Newman and Sezer/Austin are big misses.
Looks like Hooley will have to play and Myler to HB.

Any news yet on any of the injuries?

I see that the bidding war for Tyler Dupree between Hull KR and Wigan has hotted up and that a transfer fee of £200,000 has been rumoured.
We released Tyler only 3 years ago too

Kind of backs my argument up and also yours too for the club to keep it's junior talent rather than spend big money on the NRL players as their class players don't come over here anymore?

Merrin and Tetavano aren’t real class, but they had a reputation.I was genuinely excited when we signed Tet.

Real class is Webb, Buderus, Johns, Barrett, Lyon etc

Where did I say you shouldn’t keep your junior talent?

Dupree is doing well now but he had to go the championship to mature as a player. You can’t keep all your youngsters, it’s just not possible. Wasn’t exactly pulling up trees when he was at Leeds.

I was surprised when we let Dupree go because he had the frame.

AJ Wallace was a little small and Mustapha too.

I’m not sure whether the loss of some key talent is down to us being too tight on salaries and how much down to impatient young lads with agents in their ears these days.

Not being funny but what value do these agents really bring to anyone? They’ll always advise where the money is most because that’s how their fees work.
