Some serious money needs spending on this squad. Whilst there’s a lot of kids for the future, there’s a lot of players that simply are not good enough. I get that there are injuries, and this is the payback of running with such a small squad.

Agree with Souness tonight.
We cannot play man for man with the quality we have.
It worked in the Championship and it worked first season back in the PL.
Now teams have sussed it out and can easily cut us up.
Koch was pulled all over the place leaving massive gaps for others to move in to.
Funnily enough I thought Klich was doing ok and he got subbed.
Would have taken Roberts off without doubt.
Also looks like Llorente`s going to miss Liverpool and Villa games.
