No the scoreline wasn't 70-6 but Salford didn't go from being the best team in the country to one of the worst in 3 months either.

Hardaker is definitely high maintenance. But i think it's because he's as thick as pig s**t. It's probably not meant to be malicious. He's just a tool. Read his twitter feed.

That's a pretty good summary. He's not intelligent enough to be malicious.

On the topic of the coach, I don't know what the answer is. Who is there available?

I liken SL to a room with the stale air of a dozen smelly farts (clubs) which have lingered there for a decade and a half because all the doors and windows have been locked tight (salary cap).

This has suited Leeds because they had a group of players who weren't going anywhere but now the main one's have retired they need replacing. But there are neither the players available, nor a transfer market to accommodate that need.

I have never met the lad, but listening to him or looking at his social media he reminds me of Gareth Hock. Got amazing natural talent, but is missing the intelligence to be aware of the media, so will not be allowed to become the player he should be.

Unfortunately for him to be a great you need to be intelligent enough to manage media as well as be a great player these days or else the media will destroy you.

Something RL clubs seem to be behind RU on. Hardaker is a great natural player, good looking lad, very sellable, if someone would coach him on how to behave and interview in the 2016 media world.

I will bet that after his move to Sale you will see Charnley's public profile and media change! He will be Sale's new poster boy to replace Cipriani.

I'm going on a tangent, suppose I am saying if clubs like Leeds/Wigan don't \can't manage to mould either these 2 into figures recognised by everyone in the country, who can?

You are one of the most successful teams in SL, you have 1 bad season and you are panicking, just chill you will still be in SL next year. Try being where we are!

McDermott became the coach of a side that could win easily without one.

Now those leading players have left, he has to actually coach the team, abd clearly he's now out of his depth.

I always found it wierd the Leeds took him on. Look how well hevdid at his previous club London Broncos/Harlequins/whatever.

You seriously need to get rid and very soon.

10 games in and we are totally useless in attack. Whatever combination Mac picks at 6/7 we've come up with nothing. Over to u GH we either need a new halfback or pull the plug on Mac. Its appalling watching this rubbish! No sign of improvement anywhere. Kirkstall/injuries whatever. Its just not good enough. If u happen to read any of this Gary I'll remind you CAS WAKEY HKR SALFORD have just beaten us. The silence from you is deafening!

I was just going to say the silence is deafening .i wonder if anything is going on behind the scenes ? Something needs to be done just to get stability this season then build for next year
