Newcastle might have pots of cash but they wont be able to buy anyone decent with their league position surely? Cant even beat Norwich at home on a Tues night.

They are in big trouble.

Wonder who they will target in Jan?

Their Christmas fixtures are as hard as ours. They'll struggle to be of the bottom by the time the window opens.

They'll have to throw silly money around to tempt clubs to part with their best players, and silly money to attract the players to a sinking ship. January rarely has much big activity

Norwich look in trouble too. Couldn't beat 10man Newcastle, and won't have the ability to bring much in over the transfer window.

Yeah Norwich have picked up under Dean Smith but they wont score enough goals and i think they will go down again. Too good for Championship but not good enough for Prem.

Newcastle will be fascinating to watch. They need a complete new team really but that wont happen in Jan.

Big win last night and a decent performance. Thought Palace looked a good team. Good midfield and very good wide men.

Foreshaw was MOM for me, was superb. Raphinha James Dallas all very good. Fair play to Firpo thought he actually did well after shaky first 5 mins. Passed ball well and took it forward well. Very brave performance by him imo. If we get 3 points v Brentford it will really take some pressure off going into a tough Xmas

I think Gallagher's form has scuppered any chance of Leeds signing him. He'll be getting a lot of game time at Chelsea next season, he's far better than Saul. Even if Chelsea would sell him, they'd want £40m
