I think considering the likes of French, Field, Hastings, Cust and were all reserve grade NSW Cup standard players and were all MoS or thereabouts - Brooks would be OK.

Brooks is just another Tyrone Roberts. He may thrive in a different environment, but he'd be a VERY expensive gamble.

I think Leeds will look at Aussies etc who are just below NRL first team level, who have been unlucky or injured or kept out by a superstar.
Blake Taffe who is back up to Latral at Rabbitous would get my vote.

The real issue is money superleague clubs simply can't afford even the lesser known players from the nrl.

Yes and the expansion of the teams in the NRL are not helping either with the arrival of the Dolphins.. we are in trouble over here if more money is not put into the game and the cap isn;t increased.

Just have to rely on grass roots production,’which isn’t a bad thing. International team is really strong too with Radley, Young,
Farnworth ripping it up in NRL…..
