There’s a good player in there for sure, important to remember that he’s maybe only a year or so into the transition to prop. Needs game time, and to continue to add size.

I doubt we’d get in a bidding war, but think we should be trying to find out if he could replace Tet and then we don’t have to use much wage and a quota spot.

This would be a real shame.
He will be a good forward for sure.
Just has others blocking his path at the moment (even though some are under performing).
Would be great if he could have a period on loan and come back to replace Tet.

Good player. wd should be giving him a 2 year deal. Still very young for a prop

Terrible choice if we let him go/ dont give him enough games etc.

With Tet surely leaving he should be taking his place

Yes, and some of those others are also very good young props or forwards.

I agree the ideal scenario would be to tie him down and send him on loan somewhere he’ll play every week. Maybe a one year extension with an option for another in the players hands, that way he feels like he’d have a get out should he need one, and we have time to see him develop.

For my money Walters is way above Sangare who seems very slow and cumbersome
Looks like he's away to another club which is a real shame

I said before sangare arrived that I'm not convinced he's a top level consistent prop and I still feel the same between flashes of quality. At 25 (our 3rd most senior in years) he should be moving towards that consistent performance.

I don't know if anyone managed to catch the Tigers game on the weekend, but Brooks was utterly dismal again. He's quick, good in support and can kick long, and that's about it.

I'll be quite annoyed if Walters leaves - he may fade away like so many before him, but there's glimpses of an absolute monster prop there.
