Elliott himself didn`t think it was even a red card.
And to make matters worse we have Jasper Carrot reffing on Friday.

refs dont lie. people in the stand such as match observer listen in. I've done it with a mate who is a prem ref. its recorded too.
still not seen the foul so wont comment on it but it seems its how the card came about that's the issue. my guess is pawson missed it from his angle, easier to happen than you may think, played on, another official brought it to his attention and VAR had a word in his ear. just a guess. he should have looked at the monitor imo and made his own judgement. and klopp, who is a total nob according to my mate, should not have been allowed on

Fair comments there Tad.
I do think Klopp over reacted and made much more of it then he should have done.
But saying that the manager was probably looking at the injury to one of his younger players and the emotions kicked in.
I used to like Klopp but last season when they were struggling and this season he does come over as a right bell end.

seen the red card and it's a poor decision. comes round the side, trailing leg clips him, doesnt go through him which is crucial, and his studs lock in the turf. doesnt have to be intent anymore but for me it's a total accident, it's certainly not reckless

spoken to 3 officials I know well, 2 in prem and 1 in EFL. first 2 are on UEFA list.
