Better than you think when it down on paper at least for where the club is at the moment anyway.

There’s clearly two areas we have a lot of room for improvement and that’s goals from midfield ie an upgrade on Klich, and better quality cover for Phillips (although Bielsa could help that by playing more defensively when Phillips out).

Yea, I don't think there's many players about who can play CDM on their own like Phillips does, so going with a double pivot does make sense. Although, I think the club will wait and see how Forshaw gets on in the next few months, if he struggles then we may try to get a new CM in January, but January is a horrible market, so they'll probably wait until next summer.

Yeah the double pivot would have helped us in games like Man U, we were so wide open. The great man is a touch stubborn there imo

yep. a 4-2-3-1 line upon certain games would be better imo. however we did ok at home against the top 6 last year. did we concede 2? unbeaten too

Could we look at Forshaw alongside Phillips?
I was hoping we could have signed Christie and Edouard from Celtic for less than 20 mill as we are net 2 players down on what was a thin squad last year.

edouard a huge gamble . scored for fun when celtic were dominating.be interesting to see how he does in england.
christie gone to Bournemouth hasn't he? so no premier club wanted him

We did but all with Phillips. I think we need to switch to a 2 CDM when he’s out against the better teams

Yes went to Bournemouth for 2.5 mill which I thought was a good deal for a decent squad filler here at Leeds.
