| a lot of awful performances, ayling should be dropped after 3 terrible displays, but burnley could, and maybe should, have been down to 9 by half time.
however a point at burnley is a good one.
today showed how we desperately need a quality midfielder

| I think a draw is a fair result in the end, neither team created anything clear cut. It was a scruffy game and they're a pig of a side to play.
Agreed regarding Ayling, he barely completed a pass. I also thought Rodrigo was poor again, and we looked better with Roberts in midfield.
Plenty to work on during the international break. Hopefully Firpo and Klich recover from covid.

| Thought Phillips was Leeds best player by a mile.
Cut out plenty of Burnley attacks and held the team together.
Both wingers didn`t make one decent cross and I thought Bamford might have scored from Phillips pass but redeemed himself at the end.
Totally agree about Ayling and Drameh possibly could/should be given a shout.
Don`t agree that Roberts was good and offers nothing.
Our bench is poor with no real game changers unless the kids get a gig.
Burnley are hard to break down and a draw will do for me.

Agree Tad. Trouble is because we’ve such a bloody small squad there’s nobody really pushing Ayling for his place. And couldn’t agree more re a quality midfielder.. I was saying it all game. Orta will think this imo but something is stopping them doing business there.. it’s a gamble they don’t need to take imo
Thought we missed Klich work rate today too against a physical team

Fair call Tad especially after his performance against Everton.

That’s where he’s flawed there is Bielsa. We had barely anything from the bench today

| I went to the game today, struggling to stay quiet as in main stand. Agree with others Ayling really struggled today with both Taylor and McNeil, who looked a good player.
Thought Philips looked a bit leggy, he has had a tough summer. Burnley got well on top in 2nd half and got their tactics right by at times backing off and giving Leeds no space to run into. Then they scored and became increasingly defensive which let Leeds get up to the pitch more consistently.
Day summed up by nipping to the loo and missing our goal.
More tough fixtures coming up, October and a November games will be key in trying to get a few wins.
I’ll be happy to stay up this season.

Hate to say it but I totally agree.
And we won`t have anything from the bench for the rest of the season unless we bring in a couple more which now seems unlikely.
Top class manager but very stubborn and cross him at your peril (Hernandez, Poveda, Pontus)
He sticks by his favourites even if they are playing badly and it is hard to get into that inner circle.

| I'm sad that we have weakened over the summer ràher than strengthened. I know Pablo didn't play much last year, but he was at least someone who could come on the pitch and change a game. With him gone we have a very thin squad

Good call on Phillips. He did look half yard off back end of the game. McNeil is a very good player. He won’t be there long.
