I know I`m living in cloud cuckoo land but just think Gray and Cunha = 29m minus Costa say 12m and it`s a net 17m outlay for 2 good signings that would certainly have transformed us.

Agree. Athletico have signed De Paul and Cunha for about £55m combined. Great business that. Gutted personally. They’d have lit up Leeds

34000 at ER tonight against Crewe.
According to a friend of mine at the game Costa looked poor even against a 3rd division team.

Could have been 10. Forshaw was good for the first hour, positive signs for him.

Biggest positive was Foreshaw. Says he feels really good. Definitely gives us cover if he stays fit. Harrison looked really good. Bamford made a huge difference when he came on. Surprised Rodrigo didn’t play well.. he just can’t seem to get going can he despite finishing season very well

Experience will do Bamford the world of good. Benefited from Watkins not being fit and Kane only just back. Chuffed for him. Deserves it.

Now that`s where we differ mate.
I don`t think this season he deserves it at all.
I keep mentioning it but his first touch is poor most of the time and he doesn`t have that killer instinct for a top class forward.
That means he will score 3 against Burnley now
