Some of the rugby was turgid and down right shambolic at times during large periods of the regular round games but his ability to get us up for the big occasions is second to none. The two wins from 5th position, the win at warrington in the play offs 2011 ( which i think was his greatest BTW) followed by Burrow's wonder try in the final. WCC win over Manly, back to back CC wins, a treble won in dramatic fashion and then winning the 2017 GF out of nowhere really all things that were done under his watch.
Memories I will cherish forever. Was it the right call? Probably. But that shouldn't take away from what he achieved.
